I'm the assistant editor at Endless Vacation, where I write, assign, and edit stories on domestic and international travel. As an Oregonian residing in New York City, I preach the merits of the beaver state (the mountains! the beaches! the kombucha!) like I'm getting royalties. I'm not.
Despite living in a metropolis, I cook often. Whipping up a pot of steel cut oats calms me better than vinyasa. I obsessively read food news and am the self-appointed restaurant recommender among my friends. So far they haven't complained. I like to break a sweat once a day, whether that be a run down the west side highway or a set of burpees in my room (s/o to the neighbors downstairs).
I'm a University of Oregon journalism grad whose written for Shape, All You, Ruralite, and Portland Monthly. Currently, I'm working on a project where I write every day, which is intended to strengthen my creative muscle. Unintended as a means for my mom to "check in on me".
